President Message

As a member of the Mitsubishi Materials group, MERC performed non-ferrous metal smelting and refining, processing, non-ferrous metal recycling since our founding in 1970.
Today, scrap such as parts of the communication equipment and home electric appliance, discarded mobile phone and PC contains various metals of gold, silver, copper, platinum group, lead, tin and rare metals etc. These are valuable metal resources in Japan with poor resources as so-called “urban mines”.
We properly collect these recycled materials from domestic and overseas and deliver them to the smelters and cement plants of Mitsubishi Materials Group for processing. We also recover and refine platinum group, tin and rare metals at our own plant.
In addition, we produce and sale copper alloy and lead alloy, further electrode, parts and equipment used in metal electrolysis.
